Rotarians,
It is with great pride and honor that I serve my year as President of the Port Washington-Saukville Rotary Club. We have just completed a successful year under the leadership of President Dr. Michael Weber. Every member can be proud of our accomplishments in 2008-09. I promise to do everything in my power to continue the success we experienced last year. I want us to have fun as we go about our Rotary business in meetings, programs, activities, and fellowship.

The Rotary International theme for the year 2009-2010 is “The Future of Rotary is in Your Hands”. All Rotary Clubs are encouraged to establish a reasonable growth plan and to pay special attention to service projects which meet the greatest need and provide the greatest benefit. Continued focus on Water, Health, Hunger and Literacy projects is encouraged. Water should be the first priority because it is a necessity of life for every man, woman, and child.
One goal I have for our club this year is to incorporate the “Four-Way Test” into our weekly meetings and encourage all our members to adopt the test in their daily personal and professional lives.
The Four-Way Test of the things we think, say or do
1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
We have been fortunate in the last few years to have some outstanding new members join our club. We need to continue to actively recruit new members to our great organization. With new members come new ideas of how the Port Washington-Saukville Rotary Club can better serve our community.
The Rotary Board members are always open to NEW ideas of how we can continue to strengthen our club & make it even better than it already is.
Let’s continue to work for the betterment of Rotary and our community.
Yours in Rotary,
Dawn Wagner
President
