November 1st: Our own Mark Gierach, Executive Director of the Ozaukee Food Alliance, addressed the Club about the progress being made at their new building and upcoming open house in January. Nate presented Mark with a check representing the second installment of PW-S Rotary's contribution to their capital campaign. Mark also discussed the partnerships and programs available to the community through the Ozaukee Food Alliance.
November 8th: Jordan Luhr, Executive Director of Balance, Inc., along with Robin Malek, joined us to discuss the programs available for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and the success of their recent gala fundraiser.
Sulaimon Jaimon of skyedgecom.com and pastor at Household of God in Saukville has been proposed as a new member. Sulaimon visited the Club for a couple of lunch meetings already.
If anyone has any objections to Sulaimon joining, please contact Gene Boyer before Tuesday, November 21, 2023. If no objections are heard, Sulaimon will be formally invited into membership.
HOLIDAY PARTY:
Mark your calendar: the PW-S Rotary holiday party will take place on Saturday, December 2nd at Kuttner North America from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. and will coordinate with the Christmas on the Corner event in downtown Port Washington. This will be a family-friendly event, with families free to come and go as they please. Please RSVP for all individuals attending for a head count for food.
