Our club accepts new members by invitation.
PW-S Rotary Club Membership Levels
To recognize active community leaders, acknowledge longtime members, and accommodate diverse economic situations, the Port Washington – Saukville Rotary Club offers several membership levels. As part of a service organization, who’s Club moto is “Service Above Self”, all members are expected to contribute at primary fundraising events, including volunteering at Port Washington’s Fish Days*, and purchasing tickets to the Club’s annual Final Four event. Members are encouraged to volunteer for additional fundraising and community service events.
PW-S Rotary Club membership levels have been established as follows:
Individual Member
Individual members are sponsored by a current Club member. They may attend all lunch meetings, held the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Wednesdays of the month. Individual members may bring guests at the current lunch rate (no cost for guests that are prospective members). Upon approval, Individual members are responsible for Rotary dues**:
- Club - $200 (quarterly)
- Rotary International Foundation - $25 (quarterly)
- Final Four - $100 (annual)
Organization Member
Organization memberships are sponsored by a current Club member and are available to individuals who are employed or affiliated with an organization located in Port Washington or Saukville. Organization members may attend all lunch meetings. Organization members may bring guests at the current lunch rate (no cost for guests that are prospective members). Upon approval, Organization members are responsible for Rotary dues**:
- Club - $200 (quarterly, first organization member)
- Club - $40 (quarterly, each additional member beyond the first up to four)
- Rotary International Foundation - $25 (quarterly per member)
- Final Four - $100 (annual per member)
Service Member
Service members are sponsored by a current Club member. Service memberships are available for individuals who are interested in joining the Club but face a financial barrier to doing so. Must be applied for and approved by the Board annually, up to 3 consecutive years. The number of Service memberships available is limited to 10% of Individual Members. In exchange for reduced dues, Service members are expected to volunteer at four Club events annually***. May attend all lunch meetings. Upon approval, Service members are responsible for Rotary dues**:
- Club - $100 (quarterly)
- Rotary International Foundation - $25 (quarterly)
- Final Four - $100 (annual)
Active Community Leader
Community Leader members are invited and approved by the Club Board. Community Leader members may attend one lunch meeting per month. Dues**:
- Club - $40 (quarterly)
- Rotary International Foundation - $25 (quarterly)
- Final Four - $100 (annual)
Honorary Member
Honorary members have spent 50 years as part of the Rotary organization. Dues:
- Rotary International Foundation - $25 (quarterly)
*All Club members are required to volunteer at Fish Days. Members who don’t volunteer may be billed an additional fee to cover lost event proceeds, up to $100.
**Billing is done quarterly and can be billed directly to the member or their organization. Payments can be made by personal check or business account and are due upon receipt.
***Service members must volunteer for four, 4-hour volunteer shifts annually. A Fish Days volunteer shift counts as one of the required shifts.
