Rotary International has 7 main areas of focus. One of these is supporting education. This includes teacher training, adult literacy, scholarships, educating refugees, Schools4Freedom (which combats modern-day slavery), and mentoring students. Rotary International supports many of these avenues via funding from the Rotary Foundation. Clubs also support these efforts through their own means. Here at PW-S Rotary, we provide scholarships to our high school students. Our District Grant Project is focused towards students. Even the water projects we support world-wide help students get to class through improved health and less time taken in retrieving safe water for their homes.
